[基地交流花絮] 英國愛丁堡商會等多個創新單位聯合參訪KO-IN智高點 交流數位孿生合作商機
On March 26, a group of five representatives from various UK organizations, including the Edinburgh Chamber of Commerce, the University of Edinburgh, and the CPC UK Local Innovation Center, visited Kaohsiung City to explore its innovative and entrepreneurial potential in the digital technology sector, looking forward to establish a bilateral startup cooperation mechanism, allowing digital technology solutions from Kaohsiung startups to undergo commercial validation in the UK, while also attracting UK innovation and entrepreneurship talents to develop in Kaohsiung.
The president of KO-IN's operation team Legend Innovation, Alex Chung, introduced the investment attraction strategies, incubation guidance, and capital acceleration methods and current effectiveness.
The companies residing at KO-IN are related to digital technology, and the target audience for attracting investment includes 3 categories: innovation incubation, domestic companies establishing R&D promotion centers, and professional service companies. Its mentoring strategy is to use a "Large Supporting Small" model, allowing small firms to connect with corporate client needs, and in the process, assist in completing phased fundraising, thereby gradually growing larger.
Residents WOWWOW Technology showcased XR game production and distribution (Yao Guo Elementary School), as well as interactive content combined with AI image and voice technology; Quadlink Technology demonstrated complete solutions from AIoT aquaculture to table, such as Water Treasure and Food Safety Treasure.
The British delegation propose a question about how early-stage investment and incubation companies scout for technology and mentor startups to success. President of Legend Innovation, Alex Chung, responded that they look for innovative research outcomes from universities and bring teams out to start businesses. During this process, it is essential to validate business models, accelerating the validation of failures, identifying the next successful opportunity, which are two sides of the same coin in the mentoring model.
3月26日，來自英國的多個團體包含愛丁堡商會、愛丁堡大學以及CPC英國地方創新中心一行5人由高市府經發局帶領參訪KO-IN智高點園區，園區經營單位誠研創新總經理鍾金峯負責接待並向大家介紹招商取向、育成輔導以及資本加速成長的作法與現況成效，互動熱絡，共同期待後續合作機會。
本次英國訪問團參訪的重點在於考察高雄市在數位科技領域的創新創業能量，並希望建立雙邊的新創合作機制，透過特定的合作議題，讓高雄創業公司的數位科技解決方案在英國進行商業實證，同時也能引進英國創新創業人才落地發展。誠研創新總經理先對來訪的貴賓介紹目前KO-IN的進駐企業近30家，均與數位科技相關，而招商的對象涵蓋創新育成、國內企業設立研發推廣中心以及專業服務公司等三類，其輔導策略即是透過以大帶小的模式，讓小廠得以對接企業客戶需求，並在過程中協助完成分段募資，進而逐步成長變大。
隨後，園區安排創新育成公司「哇哇科技」以及在KO-IN設立企業研發推廣中心的「寬緯科技」兩家具有代表性的技術創新公司進行現場技術展示交流，哇哇科技主要以XR遊戲製作發行以及結合AI影像語音技術的互動內容為核心業務，現場讓外賓體驗哇哇自製的互動式XR娛樂內容「妖果小學」，大家參與度頗高，手舞足蹈十分熱鬧。而寬緯科技在自家的展示室介紹水聚寶、食安寶等AIoT水產養殖到餐桌的完整解決方案，透過曾信銘協理的講解，讓大家更加了解寬緯如何把傳統的勞力密集模式變成高價值的科技養殖產業。
接著，誠研創新邀請大家參觀數位孿生實驗室，分享連奕科技與美商洛克威爾共同研發整合的「具CMMS功能之智慧工業物聯網解決方案」，現場引起頗為熱烈的討論交流並思考如何創造雙方具體的合作機會。最後就在實驗室門口與迎賓大廳進行大合影後，愉快的結束這場難得的國際交流活動。
